The Gahanna Academy of Music presents A World of Music in Our Backyard

Session 1: June 21-25; M-F, 9am-12pm
Session 2: July 12-16; M-F, 9am-12pm
Cost:$165.00 for each session (includes all supplies, morning snack and music)
Come
join us for our summer camp. Participants will spend a fun filled week
learning about music notation, rhythm, intervals, cadences and chords
through noncompetitive games. We will use creative exercises to remain
flexible and learn how to avoid injuries common to musicians. There
will be stories, maps, projects and recordings to help us study our Composer of the Day,
along with a snack geared to the composer. We will also learn some
simple phrases in the composer's native language. Finally, each day
will conclude with a camp assembly. Parents are welcome to join us at
anytime, but we especially encourage parents to come for the assembly
each day. The Grand Finale includes a special program for parents at
the end of the week.
Guest Instructor -- Bradley Sowash An
accomplished composer, educator, critically-acclaimed recording artist
of seven CDs, and concert pianist, Bradley Sowash has delighted
listeners of all ages in concert halls and churches throughout the
United States and Europe for over two decades.
